Video Martha Koome Hugging Kwanza Politicians Emerge Sparking Mixed Reactions

The president of the Judiciary Chief Justice Martha Koome has been working to strengthen her arm of the government despite criticism from political bigwigs in the ODM camp including the Azimio presidential candidate Raila Odinga who accused the courts of being unfair in their presidential petition verdict. During Ruto's Inauguration ceremony, the incumbent Head of State President William Ruto also gave the judiciary an additional 3 billion shillings to smoothen their services and ensure justice is served. Today, the Chief Justice Martha Koome County whereby she was received by Govenor Susan Kihika ahead of launching the appellate court in the county.

The chief justice was accompanied by her deputy Philomena Mwilu and arrived in a high end chopper with her female bodyguards. She congratulated Susan Kihika for winning the county top seat having dethroned the former governor Lee Kinyanjui who was seeking re-election. A video clip of Martha Koome's tight security detail and female bodyguards has gone viral sparking mixed reactions from Kenyans.
