Deputy President William Ruto and his allies hit back at President Uhuru Kenyatta

During a series of political rallies, the deputy president delivered a speech in the county of Tharaka Nithi. Ndindi Nyoro, a Kiharu MP, and Moses Kuria, a representative for Gatundu South, joined Ruto in denouncing Uhuru. The Kenya Kwanza team was warmly greeted by county residents of Tharaka Nithi in numerous locations. Ruto discussed his goals and the changes he wants to bring about if he is elected as the next president.

The Dp Ruto camp was questioned by President Kenyatta for doing little for the people of the republic. Uhuru provided an illustration of how Cs Munya has changed the agricultural industry during his three years in administration. In his remarks on Saturday at the Kenyatta International Conference Centre (KICC) in Nairobi, Uhuru subtly criticized Ruto for fleeing the scene of the crime and starting to make what he implied were hollow promises to Kenyans.

"Huyu Munya amekuja miaka tatu na amebadilisha Agriculture, hao walikua huko miaka nane walifanya nini? Ndio tuambiwe hapa eti watu hawajui, hao ndio hawaelewi. Akiona mtu ako na shida, 'ooh mimi nitatatua hiyo', kwa nini hukutatua huko mbele? Munya has been in this place for three years and has been successful in changing the agriculture industry. What were the other people's accomplishments throughout their eight years there? They never stop lecturing us even though they are the ones who lack knowledge. Every time they notice a problem but are unable to propose a solution, they complain "Uhuru said.

Ruto quickly refuted, saying: "Wewe uliniambia kwamba unataka kufanya kazi na wengine, sasa unanilaumu nini...Wakati nilikua nakusaidia tulijenga reli, mabarabara, tuliunganisha stima na tukajenga TTI. Ile project yetu ya BIG 4 wakati uliniambia nisimame kando ilicollapse, hakuna mambo ya Universal Healthcare tena. (Why are you blaming me when I was assisting you in putting up the SGR, roads, electricity, and TTIs agendas and you asked me to move out of the way so that you could work with others? Ile project yetu ya BIG 4 wakati uliniambia nisimame kando ilicollapse, hakuna mambo ya Universal Healthcare tena. They all suddenly fell to the ground") joked Ruto.
