Hon Kaluma Causes A Stir Online With Claim About The Curfew After President Uhuru Lifted It Today

"I hereby order that the nationwide dusk to dawn curfew that has been in effect from 2020 be vacated with immediate effect." President Uhuru Kenyatta made the official announcement of the lifting of the dusk to dawn curfew.

This good news from President Uhuru Kenyatta got Kenyans elated with many jubilating as the country's economy will officially open up.

However, Homa Bay Township Member of Parliament Hon George Peter Kaluma took to his Twitter podcast where he caused a stir by joking that the High Court has nullified the curfew lift.

"Breaking news! High Court declares lifting of curfew by President Kenyatta uncostitutional, null and void🤣." Hon George Peter Kaluma wrote on his official Twitter podcast.

This caused a stir online as Kenyans reacted by telling the legislature to cool the jokes as they had been waiting for the end of the curfew for a very long time.

Take a look at some of the reactions:

Mohammed: " Kali sana.... that's how some court decisions lacks merit."

Walace: "We're not boarding."
