Reports indicate that the meeting deliberated on boosting agriculture in the larger Nyanza region and especially in the Homabay county.
In attendance for the State House meeting included former Treassury CS Ukur Yattani, CS Education Prof George Magoha, CS ICT Joe Mucheru, Head of Public Service Joseph Kinyua, Attorney General Paul Kihara Kariuki and CS Amina Mohammed.
The president on Sunday toured the Nyanza county where he joined the congregation at AIPCA church and hd later addressed the local residents where he had promised to improve on their cotton farming.
Apart from farming, the president is also planning to complete the construction of four major roads in the county together with completion of water and sewer systems in Homabay town.
