Bishop David Ngari, also known by his alias Gakuya, is said to have explained his motivation for organising around 3000 Mount Kenya residents to oppose Raila's protests against Juliana Cherera, the vice-chair of the IEBC.
Gakuya claimed that he joined forces against Raila Odinga after learning about his dubious political schemes against the administration of President William Ruto.

"Being honest is excellent, and as a man of God, that is the only task I still have to complete. I can only speak the truth, nothing else. As a national leader, Raila Odinga is lost. Let him map out his political swales."
The leader of the Azimio One Kenya Alliance, Hon. Raila Amollo Odinga, needs to play mature politics for the benefit of Kenyans, according to Gakuya, who spoke to TV47 this afternoon.

The time is now for Raila Odinga to begin engaging in adult politics, by which I mean politics based on benefits rather than clout chasing.
