Tharaka Nithi Senator Kithure Kindike has been nominated as Ruto's running mate ahead of the August 9th polls.
Leaders from the region have endrosed him and they believe he is the suitable candidate to deputise William Ruto.
“All the time in the Mt Kenya region, we look forward to Tharaka Nithi votes arriving; we now want you to appreciate that Tharaka Nithi polling center by and nominate Kindiki Kithure as the next Deputy President,” one leader said.
Kirinyaga governor Ann Waiguru, speaker Justin Muturi and Moses Kuria are some of the top influential leaders who have been linked to that position.
Yesterday IEBC declared May 16th as a deadline to all presidential aspirants to have nomminated their preferred running mates
