Today, former Nairobi deputy governor, Polycarp Igathe paid a visit to Soy MP Caleb Kositany.

The reason for Igathe's visit is not known but we can speculate probably it was a political meeting.

This visit shows that Igathe is not afraid to risk the wrath of the political camp supporting the Building Bridges Initiative.

We can only speculate that probably Kositany and Igathe's friendship transcends politics and it is just a deeply personal relationship.

However, if it was a political meeting, Igathe may be building political connections which will enable him vie for the Nairobi Gubernatorial seat.

Anyway Polycarp seemed to be enjoying his mursik judging by the way he seemed happy in these photos.

Mursik is a traditional fermented milk variant of the Kalenjin people.

Mursik is made out of cow or goat milk, then it is fermented in a specially made calabash gourd.

The Kelenjin community call the calabash gourd "sotet".

Soot from specific trees is usually applied inside the gourd to add flavour to the fermented milk.

Mursik is usually served at room temperature or cool and is usually consumed with ugali.
