Narok county politics are turning out to be so spectacular as 2022 approaches. Though the region was perceived to be political stronghold for former Prime Minister Raila Odinga, things broke loose in 2013 and 2017 when it's largely voted for Jubilee party led by Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Samoei Ruto.(Courtesy photo)
Perhaps, it's well noted a considerable number of politicians that leaning on DP Ruto's camp are aspiring for gubernatorial seat comes 2022. Again, they are expected to face off in UDA Party primaries; a competition that is anticipated to be very titanic.(Courtesy photo)
The said four Ruto's allies are Hon Patrick Ntutu who is currently the CAS, and was also the second candidate in 2017 election after Governor Tunai. The second is Hon Koshal Tongoyo, the Member of Parliament for Narok west. The third one is Hon Soipan Tuya, MP for Narok County and Hon Korei Lemein who is currently the Member of Parliament for Narok south Constituency.(Courtesy photo)
However, according to the recent county polls, the competition for UDA party ticket seems to be narrowing down day by day. It's perceived that the Hon Patrick Ntutu are in tight race with Hon Koshal Tongoyo.
Anyway Narokians are yet to witness the unfolding of political dramas as 2022 approaches.
