Today on Monday 27 September the Orange Democratic Movement Party leader Raila Odinga paid a visit to Chaka, Nyeri County.So as to popularize his agenda for the country ahead of the 2022 general elections.
A large number of people from Chaka in Nyeri could not hide their joy when Raila Odinga and his entourage made their way to the market. In a photo which has attracted reactions on social media he was captured buying vegetables from a mama mboga in one of the stalls as residents chanted.
Before visiting the place he had earlier addressed the media saying that since his visit he has interacted with student leaders, political leaders, youth leaders, church leaders and that he had a comprehensive discussion with them.
He was accompanied by several leaders that include Nakuru governor Lee Kinyanjui, Laikipia governor Nderitu Murithi,Nyandarua governor Francis Kimemia and Kiambu governor James Nyoro among other elected leaders.
