DP Ruto's Bedroom Register High Voters In The Latest Reports From IEBC

Chairman of the Independent Electoral and Boundary Commission, Chebukati, gave Deputy President William Ruto a major boost ahead of the upcoming general elections, announcing significant progress in voter registration.

The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission has published a list of the top 10 counties that have achieved their objective and the bottom 10 counties that have not.

Samburu County ranks first, with 2128 persons registered and an 8% participation rate, followed by Elgeyo Marakwet, Wajir, West Pokot, Mandera, Nandi, Baringo, Narok, Turkana, and Tana River counties.

The top ten counties are however, Dr William Ruto's bedroom. This is a huge boost to him against opponents like the former prime minister Hon Raila Odinga who is yet to declare his presidential bid.

Wafula Chebukati, Chairman of the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission, has urged Kenyan youths and citizens to register as voters at various polling stations so that they can choose their leaders in 2022.

The IEBC has set a target of 6 million voters. So far in the first week, the IEBC has registered 202518 new voters, exceeding their goal of 1500000 new voters.

Politicians have been proactive in encouraging young people to register to vote.
