Office of the Deputy President Breaks Silence Whether DP Ruto Will Attend Mudavadi's Meeting

The Office of the Deputy President has broken silence on whether Deputy President William Ruto will be gracing Amani National Congress Party Leader Musalia Mudavadi's much anticipated National Delegates Committee meeting slated 23rd, January 2022 where he will be endorsed as the party's flag bearer.

It has been established that despite earlier speculations that the Musalia Mudavadi team could soon be joining DP Ruto's camp after his pointman Cleophas Malala shared a podium before the end of the last year.

The Office of the Deputy President has broken silence on DP Ruto's attendance with Deputy President's spokesman David Mugonyi confirming that they will not be attending the event.

Mugonyi has said that the reason why DP Ruto will not be attending is that, as the Office of the Deputy President, they have not received any invite from the Amani National Congress party.

"We have not received an invite directing our inquiries to Mudavadi’s party," President's spokesman David Mugonyi has responded after being asked to confirm their attendance via People Daily.

It has however been established that Mudavadi has also sent invites to all co-principals in the One Kenya Alliance namely Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka, Ford Kenya Party Leader Moses Wetang’ula, Kenya African National Union Party Leader Gideon Moi, and Cyrus Jirongo.

The One Kenya Alliance te have confirmed that they will be attending the meeting.

“Yes he has received the invite and he will be attending,” Kalonzo’s spokesman Dennis Kavisu said.
