The Orange Democratic Movement party leader Raila Odinga has won the hearts of many Kenyans after his noble move to reunite the country regardless of political, tribal, geographical and religious affiliations. Kenyans have camped on his social media pages to congratulate him on reaching out to the youths to engage them in nationwide youth development programs.

“I have a great time every time I get to hang out with young people. Today in Laikipia, they very impressively laid out their challenges, and we had a comprehensive discussion on the solutions. That is the sort of Kenya we want. A Kenya of solutions, not excuses, a nation at work and not bureaucracies. We want a working, efficient 🇰🇪. #INAWEZEKANA,” Raila Odinga posted on his official Facebook page.

The noble move by the former Prime Minister has earned him a lot of favor from Kenyans and his mammoths of supporters across the country, Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda, Nigeria, South Africa, Burundi and other African Union member states. This is by virtue of being the Special Envoy for the AU in charge of infrastructure across the continent.

Below are some of the reactions from social media users:

Fred: Great leader, you champion healthy discussion devoid of names and past stories of BBI. Don't be part of corruption, specially trying to bribe voters in the name of empowerment like someone we know well. Those who believe in your politics will stand with you and if you have financial shortcomings just ask for campaign funds and I am ready to contribute the little I can for we want change devoid of blackmail. The honesty that we have seen in you and those who believe in you will never ask for a coin from you. We want leadership not woodworking and kleptocracy.

Imbwaga: I have always trusted you as a radical, solution oriented leader. My liking of you came in 2002 presidential elections when you sacrificed a lot to ensure Mwai Kibaki becomes President. I would later believe in you when you held the Ministry of Roads and Public Works that saw the emergence of radical infrastructure development that continues to help the Kenyan citizenry to date. Of note is Thika Superhighway and Mbagathi way. With the Presidency, I believe a lot can be achieved. Keep working Baba. We are strongly behind you. #the5th.

Ada: Thank you for always standing with Kenya sir. My request for now as a patriotic Kenyan is, kindly but urgently do something, engage if need be our able president. Am worried about the kind of politics going on with a section of politicians some in very senior and influential positions. These people are spreading hate through incitement, politics of playing victim for sympathy, show of arrogance, bribes, character assassination, class politics, tribal politics. Am so worried as this may lead our country the Rwanda genocide way. Kindly, can these people tone down or how can they be stopped. It's dangerous and our young people are their targets.

Ayaan: We expect those appointed to WORK on Laikipia issue very diligently with an understanding that ODM stands for excellence and Zero Tolerance to Corruption. Thank you Mr. President and congratulations to all the appointees for maintaining law and order.
