Kibicho Responds To Ruto's Complaints About Their Involvement In Politics

The principal secretary for interior Karanja Kibicho has come out to say that Ruto and his team's threats will not intimidate him from taking part in politics more so choosing the best successor for president Kenyatta.

He said that he and his boss, Fred Matiang'i are not stepping out of politics and will work to ensure that Kenyans are headed in the right political direction. Kibicho then said it is his right to engage in political matters of the country because he is a Kenyan citizen and his position directly affects the daily political matters in this country.

"It is within our legal right to conduct civic education to our people by giving them the right direction to use in voting in responsible leaders. As such, we shall not allow a few politicians to intimidate us because they think they should dictate to us how to perform out duties," Kibicho said on Friday while in Kirinyaga county.

He then asked Ruto and his allies to desist from dragging his name and that of Matiang'i in their campaigns.
