Facts be told, president Uhuru Kenyatta is finding himself swimming in murky waters in matters around his succession plans. Ruto seems to have deflated all his plans by moving with speed to first take over Mt Kenya region into his side badly exposing the president to ridicule and shame.
It's clear even listening to Governor Ann Waiguru today, she declared she would be moving to UDA party after the mighty collapse of jubilee party as well the BBI report. She has already been on record confirming that jubilee party is dead with residents urging her to join UDA which seems the new party in Mt Kenya region.
The fact that Uhuru Kenyatta party has lost by-elections to UDA in his own backyard of Kiambu just confirms the person who is roaring in Mt Kenya region is non other than William Ruto. It's for this reason that Uhuru might be advised to support Ruto moving into the 2022 general election to avoid more humiliation and embarrassment for any move against such will backfire.
The fact of the matter is that Uhuru Kenyatta has lost control of Mt Kenya region given he was headed for retirement and his political direction against Ruto might backfire badly. It's for this reasons that he might join Ruto and champion for his statehouse bid ambitions given the turn of events against not only BBI but as well his succession agenda.
