The race to take over the country's top leadership has picked up. Those who are interested in the position are working tooth and nail to make sure they win the hearts of Kenyans. One of them is business tycoon Jimmy Wanjigi.
Wanjigi has been in the political world by sponsoring politicians. However, this time round, he has decided to take over and contest for the presidential seat. He has plans of vying on ODM ticket. He is therefore required to contest with ODM leader Raila Odinga in primaries.
Wanjigi has told Raila that he has played a huge role in shaping Kenya's politics, however, but time is ripe for new crop of leaders like him to offer solutions for Kenya's problems.
However, Raila is prepared to contest too and him and his followers are confident that this time round, he will win elections.
As Kenyans we continue to watch as events unfold. The bigger part is that they maintain peace as they campaign for themselves.
