Deputy president William Ruto's ally has finally come clean on how an alleged huge amount of money got in and out of his bank accounts in various financial institutions.

According to Gachagua who is the brother to former Nyeri county governor Nderitu Gachagua who passed on in 2016, the rotation involved the same amount of money and not new amount.

The first term Member of Parliament reckons that he moved an amount totalling to Ksh 200 Million back and forth over the different bank accounts and hence the amount once multiplied by seven years gives what is being alleged.

The Assets and Recovery Agency gas already indicated thAt the accounts of the MP have received the huge amount of money which are monies which were acquired through criminal activities linked to the MP.

The court has already frozen a substantial amount of money from the MP'S accounts which prevents him from getting access of the remaining amount of money in any manner whatsoever.

It is not yet clear how money was moved from and to his accounts since it has been disclosed that some bank statements have not been provided to show how the money was transacted from the financial institutions.

The long time provincial administrator who set ed under the late president Daniel Toroitich Arap Moi has however termed the investigations as witch-hunt due to his political alignment with deputy president William Ruto.
