Mudavadi who was invited by Governor Kiraitu Murungi stated that his main agenda for the residents of Meru once he wins the presidency will be to ensure new and more markets for Miraa farmers.
His welcome in to the county was seen in the evening when thousands of the elated residents flocked roads in Makutano forcing him to make a stopover and address them despite the fact that it was getting dark thus resulting to a long traffic.
Since it was almost dark, the One Kenya Alliance assured the residents that he will address them on Sunday after attending a church service in the county.
He also stated that he will making another visit before the elections.
Mr. Murungi used the opportunity to urge the residents to support him in 2022's gubernatorial race.
Few days ago, Mudavadi stated that he will be seeking his running mate from the Mount Kenya Region, and his votes will be boosted if he engages with the Mount Kenya East Region.
