Riftvalley region is one of the vote-rich regions in Kenya. The region is currently dominated by deputy president William Ruto. Majority of leaders from the region are allied to UDA party which is associated with deputy president William Ruto.
Today former Kiambu governor William Kabogo reunited with UDA leaders from Riftvalley region during the burial ceremony of Kikuyu elder in Uasin Gishu county. The burial ceremony was of the late Samuel Kamunu Kabari. The late served as Kikuyu council of elders in Uasin Gishu county.
Several leaders allied to UDA party attended the burial ceremony at Kapseret in Uasin Gishu county. Kapseret legislator Oscar Sudi eulogized the late Samuel as an ambassador of peace in the region. He further said that he was an inspiring leader who will be missed a lot.
The leaders called for unity in the region. UDA allied leaders present included Kapseret legislator Oscar Sudi, Soy legislator Caleb Kositany and Uasin Gishu gubernatorial candidate ambassador Kibet Bitok. Kikuyu council of elders and local leaders were also present.
