The two leaders have been criticizing each other ever since they started campaigning for their presidential bid. DP Ruto is known for his bottom up economic model where he says will cushion the poor people while Raila is known for The Azimio La Umoja initiative.
During his speech, DP Ruto openly admitted the secret president Uhuru Kenyatta told him about Mt Kenya region. DP Ruto said that the president told him that you cannot climb the mountain in one week or one month but constantly engaging with the people on ground.
According to William Ruto, Raila Odinga is just wasting time engaging Mt Kenya region for Uhuru told him of the secret long ago. He said Uhuru told him it's only by working to the region that's the only route to climb the mountain.
He openly said that he has done exactly what he had been told and that is why he has gained so much support from the region. Do you think DP Ruto's sentiments are true? Kindly share your views.
