Foreign Diplomats In country have maintained that they had anything to do with the 2022 polls. They have maintained that they are just in the country under their capacities as links between their various countries and Kenya.
Former prime minister Raila Odinga has even accused the West of alleged interference with the polls where President William Ruto emerged the winner of the presidential contest.
Despite the firm stand by these foreign Diplomats that they never had any interest with the Kenyan elections. A WhatsApp group has allegedly revealed that they may have taken active roles in these polls as they allegedly took sides.

According to a publication by a local media house dated 5th March, the Diplomats were allegedly in an underground WhatsApp group in which a top contender in the polls was a member. The alleged WhatsApp group was discovered by the opponent of the contender.
The opponents have since sought to know why the Diplomats were in the same WhatsApp group with a contender of the same polls in which they maintain they remained neutral.
The Diplomats are fighting to fend off the discovery by the other political camp and they feel that they might not get firsthand goings-on from the political wing which maintains that they might interfered with the 2022 polls.
Efforts by the Foreign Diplomats to have an audience with a top politician in the protesting camp failed after the camp demanded that the Diplomats explain their roles in the reported WhatsApp group that they feel was formed mainly for the 2022 elections. The main is said to have demanded that he will only give an audience to the Diplomats once they explain this.
