Leaders who Accompanied CS Mithika Linturi to Rome, Italy (Photos).

Today, Agriculture and Livestock Cabinet Secretary Mithika Linturi attended the 171 Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) Council conference in Rome, Italy. FAO is a special agency for the United Nations leading international effort to defeating hunger. Kenya is a member state of United Nations which has been heavily hit by the ongoing Drought and Famine.

According to photos shared by Konoin constituency member of parliament Brighton Yegon on his Twitter account, amongst the leaders who accompanied the Cabinet Secretary to the meeting include Bungoma Governor Ken Lusaka and Livestock Principal Secretary Haris Kimutai. MP Yegon was also present.

FAO goal is to ensure people have food security through provision of high-quality food to the hunger striken areas. They are also tasked at eradicating malnutrition and poverty in the society through driving forward economic and social progress for all.
