According To Reports, President Ruto Sent A Close Friend To Meet Uhuru At His Residence In Nairobi

Just weeks after entering office, William Ruto, the newly elected president of Kenya, allegedly dispatched one of his closest friends to meet with Uhuru Kenyatta for discussions.

There have been rumors that former President Uhuru Kenyatta departed the country on vacation shortly after transferring power to William Ruto.

The former president reportedly returned to the country last Friday by plane. Immediately after his return, President William Ruto allegedly sent one of his allies to meet and speak with Uhuru at his private Nairobi residence.

Although the specifics of their high-level political discussions have not yet been made public, it is acknowledged that the two had them.

The notion of a handshake with his predecessor has been ruled out by President Ruto. Nevertheless, he has demonstrated a willingness to collaborate with him by designating the departing leader to oversee peace talks and negotiations in the DRC and other problematic East African nations.
