Yesterday, Deputy President William Ruto while addressing thousands of residents, and a section of political leaders at Wang'uru stadium in Kirinyaga County, assured his boss President Kenyatta that any project that will not be complete by the time he exits, will be completed and his legacy safeguarded through the bottom-up economic model.
According to Political Analyst Herman Manyora, the president took his time while delivering his speech to destroyed the model, further throwing it out through the window as he gave an account of how the existing Trickle Down model had achieved and will achieve.
"Uhuru have a structured approach of how resources can get down there. He showed Ruto that the government had stepped up as it has been by putting up policies, interventions and legal frameworks to solve the issues of farmers, structuring new 50 hospitals, constructing new classrooms, removing Kenyans from CRB, uplifting the curfew, Kazi Mtaani Programme all which are structured way of reaching the ground,"said Manyora.
The University of Nairobi lecturer further argued that the President hit on Ruto by stating how much the government had done in the past four years, which the DP has been claiming was wasted on BBI.
