President Uhuru Kenyatta is working hard to build his legacy as his term draws to an end. While reiterating the fact that he won't stay in power for even a single day has continued to work towards actualizing his agenda and finishing his term well.
The head of state was today received by the Cabinet Secretary for Defense Dr Monica Juma and Chief of the Defense Forces General Robert Kibochi at the Kabete Army Barracks in Nairobi County for presiding over an important function. The president will preside over the ground breaking ceremony for the construction of the Kenya National Research and Referral Hospital at the military Camp.
The president will be actualizing one of his promises of providing universal healthcare and advanced health care to cut the costs of Kenyans seeking medical attention abroad. The Kenya Defence Forces have been praised for effectiveness and non corruption activities.
Kenyans have praised the head of state for working for the interests of Kenyans. "Good job by the government for making universal healthcare a reality," a Kenyan has observed.
The agenda of government is also to provide more opportunities for employment through such projects.
