Senator Millicent Omanga is back in defending the TangaTanga team. Sharing on her Facebook page she says;"Nimeona mnaniita mama wheelbarrow, hio wheelbarrow ni rent, ni school fees, ndio chakula, ndio everything kwa watu wengi. Bora nimewasaidia kupata hizo, hio jina nimeikubali kabisa 🙏. #MamaMiradi"
This translates to;" I have seen you call me mama wheelbarrow.that wheelbarrow is rent, school fees, food. It's everything for many people. It's good I'm helping them get that wheelbarrow, I have accepted that name."
Reacting to her morning post, netizens were quick to remind her to advise her boss, the deputy president.
Kevin Author Mzalendo wondered,"So we drop out of school twende tuendeshe wheelbarrow... Sometimes it's funny but very bitter."
Another comment read:'You're just shutting the dreams of many who are still schooling hoping to get decent jobsupon their completion.'
Does the wheelbarrow project supported by Senator Omanga discourage the young people from studying? Is this the only solution for unemployment that the TangaTanga team can offer the unemployed Kenyans?
