
Just a few days after taking over the instrument of power from the former secretary-general of the United democratic Alliance party Veronica Maina, the new secretary-general has already begun his mandate immediately.

According to an update by Cleo Malala he today visited the principal secretary in the ministry of interior coordination Raymond Omollo for a meeting is that was aimed at discussing matters of party importance.

According to Cleo the meeting discussed among other things the forthcoming party grassroot elections which are expected to take place in coming weeks and elect new officers who will help in running the affairs of the party.
As history would have it many political parties have faced many challenges during grassroot elections and therefore the meeting sought to discuss the preparedness of the security apparatus in Handling of any issue that arises during the primaries. This will be the first primaries UDA is holding.
