Uhuru Kenyatta tours Mt Kenya region to launch one of his legacy project in the region

President Uhuru Kenyatta has been out of the country for official government tour. He visited several countries and met renonwed world leaders. He met the president of USA Joe Biden and secretary general of United Nations Antonio Guterres.

Today the president will camp in Mount Kenya region to launch one of his legacy project in the region. The president has currently arrived at Kenyatta university teaching and referral hospital in Kiambu county. Kiambu county is one of the counties in larger Mount Kenya region.

The head of state will launch one of his legacy project under his big four agenda. He will preside over the official opening of an integrated molecular imaging and hospitality centre. This ultra-modern molecular imaging centre will the first of its kind in Kenya and the region and was developed as part of government efforts to expand access to cancer treatment in the country.

The president was warmly welcomed by senior government officials and leaders upon his arrival. They leaders includes health cabinet secretary Mutahi Kagwe, Kiambu governor James Nyoro, Kisumu Governor Anyang Nyongo, Kenyatta university vice chancellor among other senior officials.
