There is currently a volatile security situation in Laikipia county after fighting erupted between two sections of residents with the reports indicating that the land factor may have played a crucial role in the skirmishes.
According to the ODM senator, deputy president William Ruto's Hustler nation camp is partly to blame for the security situation in Laikipia, arguing that there are some aspects of the Hustler nation philosophy which allegedly promote division.
Ayacko said that hustler nation philosophy promotes hostility between the "haves and the have nots" and may have caused the situation in Laikipia with a section of residents feeling that they have been oppressed with their land taken away.
However, the sentiments from the politician attracted heavy criticism from other panelists who argued that the security situation in Laikipia should be handled the way it is and not politicized like the senator was attempting to do.
