UDA Camp Finally Breaks Silence On Kahiga, MP Gichuhi Exit From Jubilee, Sends A Powerful Message

Nyeri Governor, Mutahi Kahiga and Tetu Member of Parliament, James Gichuhi today excited the UDA team after they officially announced their exit from the Jubilee Party. Kahiga who had accompanied the second in command during his Sunday tour in Nyeri said that Jubilee is now a lonely party and they no longer wish to associate themselves with it. Kahiga who was welcomed to the party by Ruto himself said that he wishes to meet Ruto at his Karen residence to officially don the UDA colours.

In his stinging remarks DP Ruto said that Governor Kahiga had been left lonely in Jubilee after mass exodus. During his exit, MP Gichuhi claimed that he had listened to the ground and the song is UDA and not the man of riddles. Their departure just comes a day after four other powerful governors had left the Jubilee Party. Kimemia, Nyoro, Mureithi and Lee Kinyanjui had yesterday declared their defection from Jubilee.

However, Ahmednasir who is an UDA ally reacted to their defection from the Jubilee Party. In his remarks he claimed that it is wrong to use the word defect. He claimed that a one cannot defect from Jubilee to UDA but it is simply realignment.
