Miguna Projects Number Of Votes Raila Will Garner Should Supreme Court Order A Fresh Election

Wafula Chebukati' s August 15 declaration that crowned the self- declared chief hustler_William Samoei Ruto was met with opposition from pro- Raila camp which claimed that the poll results did not reflect the true position of Kenyans.

Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Coalition party presidential flag bearer and his team went ahead and lodged a petition seeking the apex court to overturn Ruto' s win citing among other reasons that Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) servers were manipulated in favor of Kenya Kwanza leader.

The hearing process is slated to end today after which the seven- judge team will examine, cross- examine and re- examine evidences tabled before them to ascertain if 2022 presidential election was conducted in line to the constitution or not.

Hitherto, there are two probable results awaited; first, Ruto' s win may be upheld and if that' s not the case, his win will be nullified, should the second ensue, IEBC will have up to 60 days to conduct a fresh election. Through his Social Media pages (Facebook and Twitter), the Toronto- based barrister opined that in the unlikely event Martha Koome and team nullifies Ruto' s win, then Jakom will have a rough statehouse ride thereafter.

According to Miguna Miguna' s projections, in the event of a fresh election, Raila will manage barely 40% of the will- be casted votes. His sentiments came after the Devolution Empowerment Party (DEP) leader Kiraitu Murungi and team left Raila' s Azimio camp for Ruto' s Kenya Kwanza team.
