Thank you again my dear readers and welcome warmly to my daily news updates.
Nyanza region has been known for many years as a stronghold of Raila Amollo Odinga.
Odinga was defeated by William Samoei Ruto in the August 9 presidential polls last year. But his region has a lot of politicians under his party(Orange Democratic Movement).
President William Ruto today started his two days visit to this region whereby he is scheduled to visit three counties.
President William Ruto started his tour in Homa Bay County. A County that is headed by Governor Gladys Wanga of ODM. Here he was received warmly by the governor and other prominent politicians.
He visited Tom Mboya University in Homa Bay Town where Wanga presented him with the county's development plan.
Later the President launched affordable housing in Homa Bay Town. Here a huge crowd was seen singing and praising the Head of State.
