A war of words has now erupted between lawyer Ahmednasir Abdullahi and the USA based Kenyan lawyer Makau Mutua after the latter threatened to expose all the politicians allied to the Deputy President William Ruto who are allegedly having questionable characters.
This altercation that took place on twitter begun when Makau Mutua accused DP Ruto of having a record of always being surrounded with corrupt politicians some of who are having the worst scandals in Kenyan history.
In his twitter post he proceeded by putting the said politicians on notice and threatening to expose them in the next one week.
This kind of threat however did not sound well to SC Ahmednsair Abdullahi who is known for his strong support for DP Ruto. He angrily told Makau Mutua to mind his own business and leave Ruto alone.
He humorously told Mutua that he should focus on his job which is teaching his students “International Business Transaction”.
The two lawyers have always disagreed when it comes to politics more so because they support different presidential candidates. As Ahmednasir supports William Ruto, Makau Mutua will always give his all in support for the ODM leader Raila Odinga.
During Raila Odinga’s launch of the presidential bid in Nairobi, Makau Mutua flew all the way from USA to come and attend the rally. He was in fact given time to give his speech as one of the guests.
On matters corruption in Kenya, perhaps it will be fair to state that there is no single politician who can claim that he doesn’t have corrupt allies because as one prominent writer once said; all animals are the same.
