A Kenya Kwanza Principal Raises an Alarm About Gachagua's Behavior, Warns on What Could Happen

Rigathi Gachagua's appointment as Ruto's running mate is still eliciting mixed reactions across the political scene.

Gachagua has been making headlines mostly for the wrong reasons with his statements being misinterpreted by the other side.

Farmer's Party Leader Irungu Nyakera who is a principal in the Alliance has raised an alarm about Gachagua's behavior.

Speaking to the Standard, Nyakera has warned that Rigathi's behavior could lead to voter apathy hence affecting Ruto.

According to Nyakera, since Gachagua was made running mate, it has been dram every passing day.

This is as a result of Gachagua's statements that are not well weighed before being made.

Nyakera has promised to forward the issue to all the principals in the Alliance to decide on the way forward.

Nyakera has also lashed at Gachagua for insisting that Mt Kenya residents should only vote for UDA candidates.

According to him, this is among another issue that Gachagua must desist from if he is interested in making sure that the Coalition wins in August.
