The much-anticipated general election in Kenya is almost at its conclusion now that the votes are beginning to be counted. According to the reports, the polling stations in the locations that are difficult to access started closing between 6 and 7 p.m.
Citizen tv has released presidential results from Nyamira, Transzoia, Kajiado, Kisumu, Marsabit, Kisii, Samburu, Vihiga, Kiranyaga, Mandera, Lamu, Busia, West Pokot, Wajir, and Kwale. Check out the official results as of now according to the data provided by Citizen digital.
At Kisumu, the presidential candidate Azimio received 97.59% of the vote, but William Ruto received 1.45% of the vote for deputy president. The citizen did not specify the precise location.
The presidential candidate in Busia, Azimio, received 81.12% of the vote, and William Ruto, received at least 17.21%.
In the county of Kajiado, the presidential candidate Azimio received 52.69% of the vote, while Deputy President William Ruto received at least 46.47% of the vote.
In Nyamira, the presidential candidate with the highest number of votes was Azimio, who received 60.82%, while William Ruto came in second with 38.17%.
