Chief Guest for Today's Mashujaa Day Revealed

Kenya celebrates her Mashujaa Day on the 20th of October which will also be a public holiday.

Mashujaa Day, which translated in English is Heroes' Day is set aside to honour all those who contributed towards the struggle for Kenya's independence as well as those who positively contributed in the post independence Kenya.

This year, the celebration will be held in Kirinyaga where potential presidential candidates will share the podium for the first time in a public holiday. So far, Okoa Kenya principal have arrived; Musalia Mudavadi, Moses Wetangula, Gideon Moi and Kalonzo Musyoka.

Raila Odinga aand William Ruto will be present. However, none of them will be the guest speaker t the event.

It has been revealed that Malawi President will be the chief guest speaker at the event. Lazarus Chakwera together with First Lady Monica Chakwera flew into the country yesterday and is expected to speak at the event.
