Kitui county governor Charity Ngilu have been accompanying former prime minister Raila Odinga in various political events in the country. Recently the vocal governor accompanied the former prime minister in Kakamega county for the inauguration of the first woman bishop.
Today the first time governor has revealed her preferred presidential candidate amid rumours of endorsing former prime minister Raila Odinga. The Kitui governor revealed this information while launching various county projects at Zombe in Kitui county.
Governor Charity Ngilu said that she will support Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka for presidency. The governor said that former vice president Kalonzo Musyoka is the only leader who will cater for Ukambani needs and interests once elected as the next president. She urged Kitui residents to fully support Kalonzo Musyoka presidential bid.
The governor also accused former Kitui governor Julius Malombe for plotting to sabotage his county government administration. She revealed that the former governor has been working with various Wiper Kitui MCAs to sabotage the work of her administration.
