Top United Democratic Alliance party firebrands pitched tent in Kandara including Secretary General of the party Veronica Maina and Muranga County Governor Irungu Kangata as campaigns reached homestretch for the position of the Kandara Constituency Member of Parliament.
According to the information shared by UDA candidate for the Kandara Constituency parliamentary seat Chege Njuguna, he together with the aforementioned leaders adressed residents of various wards in Kandara on the benefits of NHIF. He revealed that the residents were issued with NHIF cards and were briefed on the heath benefits they would enjoy under the cover
He revealed that the county government and himself will work in coordination to ensure that Kandara residents under quality health care.
They also took the opportunity to drum for the support of the UDA candidate in the upcoming by elections that is scheduled to take place on January 5th 2023.
Ithiru Ward Member of County Assembly Kibe Wasary was also present at the event.
The Kandara seat fell vacant after Alice Wahome was nominated to the cabinet by President William Ruto.
