Ruto’s Camp React to New Opinion Poll by Mizani Showing Most Likely Winning Presidential Candidate

Prominent allies in the Kenya Kwanza camp have reacted to the Mizani Africa polls showing the presidential candidate who is likely to win the upcoming August general elections. According to the analysis, deputy president William Ruto is the most popular candidate whom if elections were conducted today could emerge victorious.

Orange Democratic Party leader Raila Odinga comes second in the polls though the marginal difference between the two is only 0.1%. However it is alleged that the second in commands popularity has been on a downward trajectory and on the other side his opponent is increasing steadily.

In the analysis that has been conducted on county and regional levels, the second in command is commanding votes in both the Mount Kenya and rift valley region.

However, taking to react to the central region polls, led by Imenti South Member of Parliament Kathuri Murungi who is the senate candidate for Meru County, the camp has unanimously praised his party leader, pointing it a great improvement for his party leader.

“Look at these statistics. WSR rating in Meru as at 10th May, 2022 is 80.1%, Kiambu 76.7%, Nyandarua 75.6%. Average 80%. How you will consume this info is up to you.” He said.
