Former Senate Majority leader Senator Kipchumba Murkomen has attacked Raphael Tuju and David Murathe over plans to form an alliance between Jubilee and ODM. Speaking in Kiambaa where they campaigned for UDA`s Njuguna, Murkomen said Tuju was behind the plan because he wants to vie for a seat in a region where ODM is popular.
He told the residents that in 2017 they were elected to form the government but unfortunately the Jubilee Secretary General has now given out the party that people loved. The residents said they were not willing to join NASA and instead are behind the Hustler Nation. He also said they were going to stand with the original agenda of helping all Kenyans.
“ Nyinyi mmenaswa? Na Yule Tuju na Murathe? Wameenda pekee yao ama wameenda na nyinyi? Si wameenda pekee yao. Kwa sababu Tuju sijui anataka kuomba kura huko ati sasa kwa sababu ODM tu inaeza uzwa huko ati ameuza Jubilee amepeleka ameingiza ODM,”he stated in this video here.
This comes as Jubilee Party is currently facing wrangles among its members a move that forced allies of DP Ruto to support UDA. Most leaders from Mt. Kenya region have recently ditched Kieleweke for TangaTanga after it was made public that there are coalition talks between Jubilee and ODM.
