Murang'a County women representative Hon Sabina Wanjiru Chege, is over the moon after being appointed to lead the presidential campaigns of Azimio la Umoja-One Kenya Coalition Party candidate Raila Odinga in the entire Mount Kenya region.
The vocal woman representative whose loyalty to president Uhuru Kenyatta seems to be paying off has expressed her excitement and appreciation over the appointment.
She has promised to deliver the Mount Kenya votes to the former prime Minister's basket in the upcoming general elections.
"It is with great humility that I accept the appointment to lead the Azimio One~Kenya Alliance Central Kenya Presidential Campaigns." Chege posted on her official social media pages
"Thank you very much our Captain Rt Hon @RailaOdinga for having faith in me to be among the players who shall deliver the presidential votes." She added.
She will work alongside agriculture cabinet Secretary Peter Munya and Nakuru County governor Lee Kinyanjui as the leaders. The team comprises of 16 individuals.
