A Ticking Time Bomb In Ruto's UDA Party? See Why This Is So

William Ruto is currently one of the top contenders for the statehouse race. Facing a huge competition from Raila Odinga he is doing everything possible to rally more support. His newly formed party the United Democratic Allaince is facing internal disputes. The cause is the newly announced national executive committee. Some members do not agree with the list released to the public.

Johnston Muthama who is the secretary general is under fire to cool down the growing situation. Most members of the party are seeking first time elections. They are young and energetic which will be a factor in the presidential campaigns. The likes of Wangui Ngirici are threatening to leave UDA if Waiguru joins.

It has been projected by few individuals that by February next year most of the Mount Kenya leaders will have defected the party. The main issue will be Ruto's hard stance on accepting allainces with small parties. This is what led to Moses Kuria and Mwangi Kiunjuri abandoning him.
