President Uhuru Kenyatta’s reign at the helm of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development had finally come to an end after two years at top of the said organization. Uhuru today handed over the powers to Barbados Prime Minister Mia Mottley.
President Uhuru’s term at the helm of the organization has witnessed breakthroughs in the country in terms of Trade ties and also the expansion of trading opportunities in the country and the continent at large. The event was held in Barbados where several heads of state attended the meeting.
With his term coming to an end the head of state has promised to continue working with the newly elected head in ensuring that major achievements and strides are met on the global front. He was in the company of several heads of state and also government officials from Kenya in the highly publicized meeting today.
