EALA Mp Aburi Fails to Show Up at Meru Law Courts

East African Legislative Assembly (EALA) member of parliament Mpuru Aburi literally went into hiding after Meru county governor Kiraitu Murungi appeared at the Meru law courts to defend himself over allegations raised on him by the politician.

While speaking infront of the law courts, governor Kiraitu accused Aburi of defaming him using his media houses Thiiri FM and Meru tv making scandalous statements about Kiraitu and his family.

In the court hearing, the legislator was nowhere to be seen to provide evidence about the earlier accusations he had made on Kiraitu claiming he has been hiding his money in South Africa.

Aburi who was once a close ally to Kiraitu has since switched lanes by joining the opposition side led by the former Meru governor Peter Munya who is also the current cabinet secretary for Agriculture.
