What Oscar Sudi Said Today That Sparked Mixed Reactions Among Kenyans

Oscar Kipchumba Sudi is the current MP for Kapseret constituency in Uasin Gishu county. He won the seat for the second time in the hotly contested 2022 general election. Sudi is a member of UDA party and staunch supporter of president William Ruto.

Today Oscar Sudi sparked mixed reaction after making a joke that he wanted to contest for the speaker of the national assembly. Sudi says he wanted to go for the seat but left it for Moses Wetangula because the later was more senior than him. He Posted this on his facebook page after visiting Wetangula in his office. He said he went to check how his office could look like if he would've gone for the sest

''I fiercely competed with Man Weta for the position of Speaker to the National Assembly. I later withdrew my candidature in favour of him because he is more Senior. Today I paid courtesy visit to his office just to check on how my office would have looked like." Sudi said.
