‘I Still Have The Sword and I'm Still in Charge' Uhuru's Remarks That Have Sparked Mixed Reactions

The Head of State has today reminded Kenyans whom he is as excitement ahead of his retirement gets more intensifying. Speaking during an exclusive interview with Mt Kenya region media stations, Head of State has reiterated that Kenyans should have nothing to worry about during the polls as far as their security is concerned.

Cases of Kenyans turning against each other over election results have been on record in the country and the coming polls should be an exceptional. The Head of State has affirmed that he will ensure that each Kenyan his protected with whatever bad thing that mat arise during the polls.

Urging Kenyans to maintain unity, he reminded everyone that he is still the Commander-in-Chief as long as he is in possession of the sword he was given. With that, he argued that before he officially hands over his tools of power, he will remain committed to his duty as the president of Kenya.

His remarks have now sparked mixed reactions among Kenyans. A section of them have acknowledged him for assuring safety in the upcoming general elections as others poke holes saying that he should not remind them of his power.
