Former Defense Cabinet Secretary Hon Eugene Wamalwa has insisted that Azimio la Umoja will proceed with their plans to have nationwide protests in the coming days should President William Ruto fail to address their concerns.
The former powerful Uhuru ally insisted that demonstrations are part of life and even residents of the most developed countries in Europe and the United States of America usually participate in daily protests.
"The day Baba will say we have done enough consultation, we have served the notice of intent to William Ruto's government. If they do not comply, when he says forward march, it is demonstrations lets all go out and protest it is your right " He said.
Eugene Wamalwa also dismissed allegations that the opposition is divided. He said that his DAP party will work closely with ODM and other Azimio parties to ensure the Ruto government is accountable.
Eugene Wamalwa also once served as the Cabinet Secretary of Devolution said that the government is wrong to import GMO maize into the country when farmers, especially in the North Rift region, are harvesting their farm produce.
He also pushed the government to lower the prices of basic food commodities in the country because Kenyans are suffering. He urged President William Ruto to ensure that he fulfills his campaign pledges to Kenyans.
