Coastal Region Commissioner Directs Chiefs To Dress Smartly and Iron Their Uniforms

Kenya is a devolved state that is operating under the new constitution that was promulgated in August 10th 2010. The Constitution introduced devolution that comprises of 47 counties that have regional commissioners who ensure peace and order prevails.

Coastal Regional commissioner Mr. John Elungata addressing the citizens in one of social gathering in Tana Delta Sub-county, urged all chiefs in the area to ensure they dress well before attending to their duties.

Mr Elungata who was speaking in an event that was graced by the area member of parliament, cautioned the chiefs to ensure they iron their uniforms well so that they should look smart and elegant to the people they are serving.
