The deputy president is seriously campaigning for presidency and he has put all measures in place to ensure he beats his competitors for the presidential seat come the general elections of 2022.
Dr. Ruto has toured many regions in the country and wherever he goes, he is preaching his manifesto of the bottom up strategy which he will employ once selected. In the strategy, Ruto argues that he wants to improve economy of the nation starting with the low earners moving up to the high earners.
According The second in command, when he assumes office, he will ensure funds are available for the small scale businesses like Bodaboda, mama mboga and the like. His manifesto has been received quite well by many citizens wherever he visits.
Today, the deputy president has met with several religious leaders and while with them, he has Revealed his plans after he retires from politics. Ruto says that when he is done with political leadership, he wants to be an evangelist.
This is a decision he made since he would like to be a participant in leading many people on getting to heaven.
