Dp Ruto's running mate Rigathi Gachagua has expressed his confidence in the credibility of this year's general elections. Speaking to the media at Mathira constituency after casting his vote, Gachagua lauded the preparedness of the IEBC. He said that the commission was really doing a good job and it was impossible to introduce dead voters and stuff ballot papers in the ongoing elections.
Kenyans woke up early as everyone looked forward to exercise their democratic vote. Leaders such as Azimio's running mate Martha Karua and Kenya Kwanza's flag bearer William Ruto also cast their votes very early in the morning.
Gachagua urged Kenyans to turn up in big numbers and vote for their leaders. Other regions in the country faced some challenges as voting did not start at 6.00 am as it was planned.
Kenyans are encouraged to preach peace as they exercise their democratic right of voting. What are your thoughts on this year's general elections? Have your say down below.
