
The former president Uhuru Kenyatta who doubles up as Azimio chair is set to meet president Ruto while his Azimio counterparts prepare for mass action.
Uhuru and president William Ruto are scheduled to share a platform on Monday to discuss regional peace. The president and his predecessor will be opening the third Inter-Congolese Consultations of the Nairobi Peace Process.

This comes amid mass protest threats from Raila Odinga. Mr Odinga has called for countrywide rallies to seek opinions from the public on the petition to remove four commissioners of the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC).
The former premier is set kick start the mass action process at the Kamukunji grounds where he is set to meet his supporters discuss on the removal of the Cherera Four. However, a section of leaders allied to the ruling coalition had asked the ODM boss to go to the streets with own kids and use poor Kenyans' children to cause mayhem and chaos.
